Can I have an allergic reaction?

Be aware, if you are sensitive to plants or plant-based products, it is not impossible. You should talk to your doctor for medical advice and then proceed carefully by testing a small amount. You should also avoid trying other new products at the same time to ensure you know exactly what causes your allergic reaction. 

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a Phytocannabinoid derivative of the hemp plant. CBD oil contains the natural compounds of cannabinoids, flavonoid, and terpenes, which provide the therapeutic effects you expect from the hemp plant without the THC stimulant.   

How does CBD work?

Phytocannabinoids (CBD) enhance the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) receptors and promote health and well-being by supporting functions in the brain, and immune and endocrine systems. 

What is Uplift Hemp CBD Oil?

It is made from two ingredients: Organic Phytocannabinoid-Rich Whole Hemp Extract and Organic MCT Oil derived from coconuts. 

Will i fail a drug test when using Uplift's organic CBD products?

Our broad-spectrum CBD oils do not contain detectable THC, so you should not fail any drug tests. Our CBD Flower also falls below USA’s legal limit of 0.3%, The trace amounts of THC can potentially show up in testing when consuming out CBD Flower. 

How long does it take for CBD oil to work?

It depends on a number of factors such as your health, why you are taking CBD oil, the results you want to achieve dosage and method of consumption.  Everyone is different, so we suggest talking to your healthcare provider about suitable dosages. 

Is cannabis legal in Bermuda?

Legalization of Hemp Products in Bermuda 

In 2019, the Misuse of Drugs Act (“MDA”) was amended, so that Hemp with a THC content of not more than 1% would no longer be a controlled substance. This law applies to hemp, hemp products and CBD products that contain THC. 

(b) by inserting the following in its proper alphabetic place- 

“hemp” means the plant cannabis sativa, or any part thereof, with a THC content of not more than 1% or such other concentration as may be specified by the Minister by Order published in the Gazette; 

Therefore in Bermuda, hemp and hemp products (with total THC not exceeding 1%) are legal and CBD products (with total THC not exceeding 1%) are also lawful. 

Cannabis with a THC content exceeding 1% are not lawful and have been decriminalized. The Misuse of Drugs (Decriminalisation of Cannabis) Amendment Act 2017 came into effect on 20 December 2017. 

What the Misuse of Drugs (Decriminalisation of Cannabis) Amendment Act 2017 actually did, was to remove criminal offenses for the simple possession by any person of 7 grams or LESS of cannabis. The Misuse of Drugs (Decriminalisation of Cannabis) Amendment Act 2017 does NOT make it legal for a person to consume, cultivate, traffic or import cannabis in any quantity.

Ministry of Legal Affairs – Cannabis (Small Amount) Possession Conviction Expungement Application 

If a person has a cannabis possession conviction prior to 20 December 2017, they should complete the Cannabis Simple Possession Conviction Expungement application. Successful applicants will obtain expungement for an offence of simple possession of cannabis (7 grams or less) committed before 20 

December 2017. 

Successful applicants will receive an ‘Expungement Order’ by the email address provided on the 

application.
